With the ever-growing number of vehicles moving on the roads of Chennai and with an increment in offenses perpetrated on the road by the drivers, the Tamil Nadu government has taken poignant action to prevent these offenses.
In 2017, the Tamil Nadu government promulgated a set of violations under the 1988 Motor Vehicle Act which has to be followed by the drivers to ensure safety in the roads.
