Learning to drive a vehicle has become an important skill that every individual must acquire. Learner’s License in Delhi - Application Procedure

Applicants can approach the jurisdictional RTO to apply for a Learner’s license in Delhi. The most preferred and convenient way of applying for an LLR in Delhi would be to fill the application form online. The following steps can guide one in applying for an LLR in Delhi:

• Visit the official web portal of Delhi Transport Department.
• Download the application form (Form 2) for a learner’s license.
• Fill up the form.
• Provide all necessary details, such as the category of vehicle and personal particulars.
• Submit the form to the jurisdictional RTO to obtain the date and time slot for the LLR test.
• Pay a nominal fee of Rs. 30 (or whatever is applicable as per the categories applied for) prior to taking the test.

Learner’s License in Delhi - Making Corrections

In case your LLR contains typos and errors, you must get it rectified immediately before the same errors are printed on your permanent license. A driving license serves as a crucial proof of identity and thus it must not contain a single error, especially in the spelling of the applicant's name or address. Here is how you can get such changes rectified:

• Contact the RTO that issued the learner's license and inform them what changes you require.
• Submit the supporting documents that contain the correct information as asked by the RTO.
• Submit the original learner's license along with an application to the Regional Transport Officer, requesting the necessary changes to be incorporated.
• If the request is accepted and approved, pay the required fee for making the corrections and receive a receipt.
• This receipt can be utilized in lieu of the learner’s license until a new and updated LLR is issued.
