Change Photo on Voter ID

Government-issued identity cards have been accused of being unflattering. People might wish to change their photo on the voter ID card since they don't look the same anymore or they want a different picture of themselves on the ID card.

How to Change or Update Your Picture in Voter ID?

• Visit the State Voter Service official website

• Choose correction of entries in the electoral roll

• Select Form 8

• Select your state, assembly and constituency

• Fill out the basic information like your name, address, voter ID number

• Fill in other relevant information like your full name, part number, serial number and photo identity card number

• Click on the Photograph option

• You will be requested again to fill in your name, address, voter ID card number

• Fill out your date of birth, gender, mother's name and spouse's name

• Upload the supporting identity and address proof documents and a recent passport sized photograph

• After uploading the photograph, you will be asked to enter your contact details like email ID and phone number

• Enter the date of submission

• Verify all the details and click on Submit

• A confirmation message will be received on your registered mobile number

• The corrections that you have made will be viewed in the next voter's list

• Make sure that all the changes you made on your voter ID are implemented before the commencement of the next election.
