Hospitalization Expenses
Covers hospitalization expenditure for three types of emigrants:
Up to Rs 75,000 for all Emigrants
Up to Rs 25,000 for female Emigrants
Up to Rs 50,000 for the family of emigrants.
Hospitalization Expenses cover the following expenses:
Nursing expenditure in the hospital, room rent etc
Fee payable to the consultant, physician or specialist
Cost of medications and diagnostic expenditure
Transportation/Airfare Expenses for the Attendant
This section covers the expenses incurred to transport the remains of the deceased back to India. It also includes the expenses of return airfare of the individual who would be accompanying the remains of the deceased back to India

These sections cover the insured for the cost of one way return airfare to India under the following situations:
Loss of employment due to the job offer being withdrawn by the employer

Termination of the employer due to severe illness of the employee
The reimbursements and benefits of this policy are applicable only if the insured is working for the same employer and the same country as declared in the Proposal Form.

However, just like all the travel insurance policies, these policies also have some common exclusions that aren't covered and are usually not entertained during claim settlement. List of general exclusions for IFFCO travel insurance policies:
Cosmetic surgery isn't covered under this policy. However, plastic surgery undergone due to a severe accident is covered.
Pre-existing medical conditions aren't covered (except for life-threatening circumstances)
The policy doesn't cover injuries inflicted while participating in dangerous adventure sports.
This policy doesn't cover damages caused by terrorist activities
If you don't report the loss of travel documents such as your passport to the local authorities within 24 hours, the company won't provide cover for the loss incurred. Similarly, if your travel documents are left unattended in a public place, you won't receive the claim amount
Coverage is not provided for partial loss of items that were inside the checked-in luggage.
If the insured person is pregnant while traveling and any complications arise while traveling.
If the passport of insurance holder is lost or damaged due to confiscating or detaining by any law enforcement agency.
Loss/Damages which aren't informed to the authorities within a day of losing the items
Damages/loss due to war or war-like activities
