Pre- Underwritten Products

Schengen Travel Insurance

You can travel for a minimum of 2 days per trip with this policy. It can be extended up to 356 days. The scheme is divided into three plans of varying rates: Smart Traveller Schengen Gold, Smart Traveller Schengen Platinum and Smart Traveller Schengen Silver. This policy applies to people traveling to Schengen countries. Following are the rates applicable on all the plans’ covers:

Annual Travel Insurance

To avail this policy, the minimum no. of days for each trip should be two days and the duration of the trips shouldn't exceed the stipulated tenure. The scheme is divided into three schemes at different rates. The plans which fall under this policy are:

• Smart Traveller Multi-trip Platinum

BHARTI AXA Travel Insurance Policy Eligibility

Anyone can purchase the BHARTI AXA Travel Insurance depending on the nature of coverage they want, their destination is and duration of the trip. As long as the members are aged 3 months-60 years, you can avail Bharti AXA travel insurance cover. Family Floater can cover their spouse and two dependent children below 23 years old.

BHARTI AXA Travel Insurance Policy Covers

• Medical Expenses that include Emergency Medical Evacuation and cost of transporting the remains of the policyholder

• Personal Accident

• This offers coverage for death and partial or total disability

• The insured can get additional benefit in case of permanent total disability or accidental death of the insured when the insured is traveling in a common vehicle (such as public transport)

• You'll be reimbursed for the cost incurred due to loss of traveler's cheques or traveling documents

• The company offers compensation for the delay/loss of the checked-in baggage

• You will be reimbursed of any expenses when your trip has been delayed/canceled

• Loss/Damage to your home or contents of your home in India caused by fire, burglary etc. while you were traveling.

BHARTI AXA Travel Insurance Exclusions

• Cosmetic surgery isn't covered under this policy. However, plastic surgery undergone due to a severe accident is covered.

• Pre-existing medical conditions aren't covered (except for life-threatening circumstances)

• The policy doesn't cover injuries inflicted while participating in dangerous adventure sports.

• This policy doesn't cover damages caused by terrorist activities

• If you don't report the loss of travel documents such as your passport to the local authorities within 24 hours, the company won't provide cover for the loss incurred. Similarly, if your travel documents are left unattended in a public place, you won't receive the claim amount

• Coverage is not provided for partial loss of items that were inside the checked-in luggage.

• While you are traveling abroad, you can call on the international Toll-Free Numbers, if you need any form of assistance or need to make a claim.

• After contacting the customer care, you'll be guided by the Claims Service Representative. The representative could help you with the process of getting cashless facility if you're hospitalized while traveling. You can download the claim form from BHARTI AXA website. You can fill this out and send it along with the necessary documents either by email or fax to the company.
