Recently, the Government of India has come up with a new campaign for linking Aadhaar cards with voter ID cards to track and deactivate the fake voter ID cards. The process of seeding Aadhaar and Voter ID or EPIC (Electoral Photo Identification Card) is also referred to as EPIC-Aadhaar Seeding.

You can link aadhaar to voter ID card on National Voter Service Portal. Given below are the steps that you have to follow to complete the EPIC-Aadhaar seeding process:

• Enter your Voter ID number and demographic details, such as your name, date of birth, etc.

• Enter your 14-digit aadhaar number.

• You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.

• Enter that OTP code for Aadhaar authentication.

• You will get an acknowledgment number, which you can use further for checking the status of aadhaar linking.

Voters must keep the following information handy to complete procedure on NVSP:

• A voter ID card/EPIC number

• Aadhaar Card number

• Registered mobile number

1. There are various Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in every state to collect all the information about the residents of particular geographical regions and link their aadhaar cards with their voter IDs.

2. Camps are organized by these BLOs officials in several areas to provide this facility to the locals.

3. Citizens can hand over self-attested copies of aadhaar and voter ID to their respective Booth Level Officer for the linking process

4. The BLO will inform the citizens upon successful Aadhaar linking with Voter ID.
