• Visit the SBI net banking portal.

• Next, go to the ‘Login’ page and select 'Forgot Login Password'.

• You will be directed to a drop-down menu, where you need to select 'Forgot My Login Password' and click on 'Next'.

• Next, enter all your bank details, such as your username, SBI bank account number, date of birth, registered mobile number, and country. 

• Note: Fill in all your details carefully, as it may pose a problem if all the information does not match with the details available in the SBI database. In case you make an error, you will not be able to proceed further to change your password.

• After the submission of all your details, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

• Enter and submit the OTP.

• You will see a new drop-down menu with options to change your login password. Select 'Change login password using profile password'.

• Next, provide your profile password and enter a new password of your choice. Retype to confirm it.

• You have successfully reset your login password.

Why You May Have to Reset Your SBI Net Banking Password

1. With the increasing number of cyber-attacks, the SBI net banking system may ask you to change the password after specific periods of time, so as to keep your account safe.
