State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest lender across India and offers mobile banking facilities to all its customers. The SBI Anywhere Personal Banking App enables end-users to enjoy banking services on the go. Moreover, SBI mobile banking services can be used either through the mobile application, USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data), WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), or through SMS.
Mobile banking has simplified financial tasks, and almost all banks have launched their own user-friendly smartphone application. Mobile banking enables you to manage activities such as balance inquiries, money transfers, payments, etc. at your fingertips.
SBI allows its customers to access mobile banking on their phones either through a mobile application, WAP facility, or SMS banking. There are a couple of mobile apps available, such as SBI Anywhere Personal App, SBI YONO App, BHIM SBI Pay App, SBI Buddy, and BHIM Aadhaar SBI App.
SBI SMS Banking
SBI allows its customers to access the SBI mobile banking SMS facility as well. In order to avail this service, SMS MBSREG to 9223440000.
The State Bank Anywhere app lets you carry out transactions anytime during the day.
All SBI account holders with a savings or current account can use this service.
SBI mobile banking facility is offered for free, except for SMS charges.

There are a couple of ways to register for SBI mobile banking services. You can do it by either visiting the SBI branch, through an SBI ATM, through the SBI Online Banking website, and even on your mobile handset.
Get the User ID and MPIN by sending an SMS as 'MBSREG' to 567676/ 9223440000 from your registered mobile number. You will then receive a User ID and default MPIN via SMS.
Next, download the SBI mobile app and log in to your account using the details received.
Finally, change your MPIN after the first-time login.
You can also complete the registration for mobile banking at your SBI home branch. Mobile banking will immediately be activated for your account after you submit the request form.
Swipe your debit card at the nearest ATM > Select ‘Mobile Registration’ from the options > Choose ‘Mobile Banking’ > Select ‘Registration’.
Next, enter your mobile number and then, select 'Yes'> Choose 'Confirm' if correct.
Finally, collect the transaction slip, and you will receive a confirmation SMS on the activation of mobile banking for your account.
Log on to Online SBI site > Select 'eServices'> Click on 'State Bank Freedom' on the left side of the page.
After 'Verification', select 'Registration' from the top menu bar > Select the account to be activated for mobile banking > Submit.
