Procedure for PAN application for Non-Resident Indians
A Non-Indian Resident may submit the PAN application Form 49AA through the UTIITSL website. The following details need to be provided in the form-
- Name
- Residential and office address
- Contact details like telephone number and email ID
- Country of citizenship and its ISD code
- Documents linked with identity and address proof
- Source of income
Along with the details mentioned above, there’s a need to provide ‘KYC Details’ for an NRI or a foreign nation in general. The following details come under the purview of KYC details
- In case of an individual, you’re supposed to fill in marital status, occupational status and citizenship status
- In case of a company, they’re supposed to provide details on which occupation they fall under
- Gross annual income
