How to Link PAN Card to ICICI Bank Account

It is mandatory for the ICICI bank account holders to link their PAN Card with their bank account. If you’re someone who has not yet linked their PAN details with their ICICI bank account then you can follow the steps discussed in any of the modes to link PAN with your bank account.

Online mode of linking PAN

You can link your ICICI Bank Account through the online portal or Internet Banking. Follow these steps to link PAN with your ICICI bank account online:

• Visit the official netbanking page of ICICI bank
• Login using your user ID and password
• Select ‘service requests’
• Click on ‘PAN card updation’
• Provide your PAN card number, date of birth and registered email ID
• Your bank account will be linked with your ICICI bank account within 2 working days

Offline mode of linking PAN with ICICI Bank Account

In order to link your PAN details with ICICI bank account manually, you need to visit your ICICI Home Branch and fill up the PAN card updation form/KYC form. Here are the steps you need to follow to link your PAN with ICICI bank account:

• Visit your ICICI Home Branch
• Ask for a KYC Form/PAN Card Updation Form
• Write a letter addressed to the Branch Manager requesting the linking of PAN card with your bank account. You’ll be required to provide a self-attested copy of the PAN card while applying for PAN Card updation
