Linking Bank Account with your PAN serves many purposes. It is easier for the tax authorities to track your financial transactions and gives additional protection to your PAN card and helps in avoiding identity theft. Linking your PAN card with your bank account is mandatory as per the rules laid down by the Government of India. In case the account-holder hasn't linked their PAN details with their bank account; they'll have to submit the Form-16, which is a self-declaration for non-possession of a PAN card.
There are two methods by which you can link your PAN with Axis bank account:
Or else, you can visit your Axis Bank Home Branch and submit the PAN card updation form/KYC form to the branch manager along with the required documents.
You can visit your Axis home branch and fill up the PAN card updation form in order to link PAN details to your Axis account via offline mode.
