An alternate way to get access to your PAN details is by visiting the e-filing website of the Income Tax Department.
To find out your PAN details only through your name and date of birth, you need to follow these steps:
- Visit the e-filing website
- Enter your Date of Birth/ Date of Incorporation(for company) in the format prescribed
- Enter your complete name
- Fill out the Captcha code
- Click on Submit
The details that can be accessed through e-filing website are- name, area code, area of jurisdiction, address.
How to Search for the registered Address in your PAN Card
You can easily find out your address registered in your PAN card by visiting the e-filing website.
- Visit Income Tax Department's e-filing website
- Click 'Register Yourself'
- Select the user type(whether you're an individual or a company)
- Click on 'Continue'
- Enter your basic details like name and date of birth
- Fill up the Registration Form
- Click on Submit
- Click on the link sent to your email address to activate your account
An alternative way to find out your PAN details is by entering your e-filing account details
- Visit the e-filing website of Income Tax Department
- Navigate to the User Login page.
- Enter your account details (like PAN number, name, date of birth)
- Click on My Account
- Go to Profile Settings
- Click on PAN details
Your address along with other information enclosed in the PAN card will be displayed on the screen.
