How to Change PAN Card Number in PayPal

PayPal is an international online payment system and the users of PayPal can transfer and receive funds online. It is necessary to link PAN card to your PayPal account since you won't be able to move funds if your PAN isn't connected to your account. Sometimes, we apply for modifications in the PAN card, in that case, the PAN details in the bank account also need to be updated.

Process to change PAN details on PayPal Account

• Visit PayPal official website
• Enter your username and password to login to your PayPal account
• After logging in click on 'Proceed to Account Overview' in the bottom section of the webpage
• Click on 'Gear Icon' on the top right corner of the webpage
• Your profile will appear on the screen
• Click on 'Account Options'
• Click on the third option from the drop-down menu, i.e., 'PAN.'
• Click on 'Edit'
• You can now update your PAN Card details
• Your verified PAN card number will be shown on your PayPal account.
• You can make changes in the PAN details by  clicking on the 'Contact Customer Service.'
• You will be given two options while trying to contact customer service for making changes in the PAN details. You can either change your PAN through Call or change PAN through email.

Changing PAN Card Number in PayPal via Phone

You can dial 18002123852 to alter your PAN card Number in your PayPal account. You'll receive a One Time Password which is required to be entered on the website while you are on call. After the OTP is validated, you will be able to make changes in your PAN card details easily.

Changing PAN card number through email

You'll be required to write a mail to the official mail ID of PayPal. You can compose the mail by dividing it into Topic, Subject and the body of the mail. The topic could be 'My Account,' the Subject could be 'Changing PAN card details,' and in the body of the mail, you will have to state that you wish to change your PAN card number and make sure to give the current PAN details and the modified PAN details. After you have given all the required details, you can click on 'Send.' You will receive an email from the PayPal customer services once your request to change PAN card number is approved.
