How to Change the Bank Account for receiving LPG Subsidy

If you've recently made any changes to your bank account and you wish to receive the LPG Subsidy in the new account, then you can follow the steps described below to change your account details to receive the subsidy in that bank account. Under the DBTL (PAHAL) scheme, you can shift PAHAL to a new bank account through a simple online procedure.

You can follow any of the two methods to complete the procedure for changing your bank account details to receive LPG Subsidy.

How to link Aadhar through Bank Account

The easiest method to change your bank account details is through Aadhar Card. You can contact your bank directly or follow the procedure mentioned online on their net banking website to finish the procedure of Aadhar linking. The NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) is the authority which is responsible for transferring the subsidy into the account of people who are eligible for subsidies. Once you have linked your Aadhar Details with your new bank account, your LPG Subsidy from the next month is received in the new bank account

Linking LPG Customer ID to New Bank Account

Bharat Gas, Indane Gas and HP Gas provide an online facility that can be used to obtain the 17 digit LPG Customer ID. If you already have the LPG ID, then you can visit the gas agency office to link your LPG Account with your new bank account. You can log in to the company's official website to log in by using the LPG ID and complete the registration process

the National Payments Corporation of India sends a confirmation to the user within a week. When the confirmation email is received, the LPG Customer ID appears on the profile of the new bank account that you have opened and the amount of LPG Subsidy is also received in the new account
