Activating IDBI Net Banking for the First Time Using the Welcome Kit

IDBI Bank is one of the reputed public sector banks in India with almost 2000 branches and over 3800 ATMs across India. Now, you don’t have to visit the bank to access your IDBI Bank account; instead, you can simply login to your net banking account and carry out banking transactions online from the comforts of home. Let’s look at the steps you need to follow to activate IDBI Bank Net banking.

To start with, you need to have an active Debit Card along with its PIN. You’ll find the two and your Customer ID in the welcome kit given to you by the bank during the time of opening the account. Now, let’s begin:

1. Visit the IDBI Internet Banking login page and then click on “Generate Online Password.“

2. Now, enter your customer ID, account number, and registered mobile number in their respective box. Next, click on “submit.” 

3. Next, click on “Generate New Password”; select “Proceed”.

4. Then, enter your debit card details by typing your card number, PIN, and expiry date and then click on “Generate OTP.”

5. Then, you will receive the request ID and OTP as an SMS on your registered mobile number. Next, enter both the details in the next page and then, click on “confirm.”

6. Finally, you have to set your Login Password and Transaction Password. To confirm it, click on the “Enable transaction feature” button and then select “confirm.”

You have successfully activated your IDBI Bank net banking facility. Now, you can login to your account anytime and use net banking for online fund transfer and many such services.
