Existing and new users of Bank of Baroda(BOB) can reset their net banking password and transaction password quiet easily. Without these credentials, you would be unable to use the array of banking services offered by BOB. The problem arises when you forget your password or enter a wrong password repeatedly. So, let's take a look at the different ways through which you can change your BOB internet banking password.
To reset your BOB net banking login password, you need to have your User ID. You would also have to answer the security questions. If you forget the correct answers for those questions, then you would have to reset the security questions before resetting your net banking password.
First, visit the official website of BOB and select 'Retail User' or 'Corporate User'.
You will be redirected to a new page. Enter your user ID and then click on 'Click Here' on the right-side box.
Next, enter your registered mobile number and select the 'Submit' button.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter it in the box provided and click on 'Submit.'
Now, enter the transaction password and click on the 'Submit' button.
Next, you will have to select from a list of questions displayed on the screen and answer them. Then, click on the 'Submit' button.
Enter your user ID and press enter. Then, enter your mobile number, OTP, and transaction password. You will be directed to the login page, where you have to select 'Click Here.'
Enter your registered mobile number once again and click on the 'Submit' button to receive the OTP.
Next, enter and re-enter your new password for confirmation and click on 'Submit.'
The screen will display a message on successfully changing your password.
Note: If you are sure of the security answers, then you can start from the 7th step; or else, you would have to reset them again.
Visit the Bank of Baroda Internet banking homepage and select 'Retail Users'.
Enter your user ID and then click on 'Reset your transaction password using Debit Card: Click Here'.
Enter the necessary details, such as card type, debit card number, expiry date, and ATM PIN, and click on the 'Next' button.
You will receive an OTP sent on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on the 'Next' button.
On the next page, you will be prompted to reset your transaction password. Enter and re-enter your new transaction password and then click on 'Next.’
A confirmation message will appear on your screen after you have reset your password.
If you are an account holder, then you can reset your transaction password by visiting your home branch or by calling on BOB’s toll-free number (1800223344, 18001024455).
Visit your BOB home branch and ask for the 'Request for the generation of new passwords’ form, or you can even download the same from the website.
Then, fill out the form carefully and submit it at your branch. After submission, the bank officials will provide you with the transaction password.
There you go! Now change or reset your Bank of Baroda internet banking password at your convenience.
