To get bank account updates such as available balance and amount credited or debited, to avoid glitches during fund transfers, and for KYC purposes, customers of Bank of Baroda should immediately update their personal information with the bank whenever there is a change in their contact details. This can be done by visiting either a BOB branch or the bank's official website. It is also vital to communicate the current address to the bank so that the customer can receive the mailers sent by the bank.
The first thing you will have to do is visit the nearest Bank of Baroda ATM.
Insert your card and enter your four-digit ATM PIN.
Now tap on ‘M-Connect’ on the screen.
You will be asked to enter the new mobile number that you want to update to your BOB account.
Enter your ten-digit mobile number, click on the 'Correct' button, and finally select the account type, i.e., Savings Account/Current Account.
You will see a confirmation message on the ATM screen stating that your new mobile number has been linked with your BOB account.
Note: You can also visit the bank branch, fill in the concerned form, and submit it there.
Write an application to the branch manager of your BOB branch. In the application, request for an address change on your BOB Account. Also, mention your current address and the new address to be updated.
Enclose self-attested copies of all the required documents with the application.
Submit your application directly to officials in the bank branch.
All the enclosed documents are then verified against the originals.
Once verified, your new address will instantly be updated by a bank official in the bank's record.
Now, update the new address in your bank's passbook as well.
Download the ‘Change of Contact Information’ form from the official website of the bank.
Fill it in with the latest information and submit it at the nearest bank branch.
