Most of the people in India began using online modes of transaction for bill payment, mobile recharge, fund transfer, or online shopping. Hence, internet banking has become quite popular. Punjab National Bank has made banking quite simple for its customers by providing almost all the services at their fingertips. All the transactions done through internet banking are secured as they are carried out through passwords.
To use PNB net banking services, the customer must set the login password when he/she uses it for the first time. However, it's our human tendency to be forgetful. There is no need to worry now, as there are ways to regenerate the forgotten passwords.
Visit the PNB net banking portal at www.netpnb.com.
Select 'Retail User' option and enter the 'User ID.'
Click on "Continue."
Now, select the 'Forgot Password' option located at the bottom.
Enter User ID & Click on Submit.
Now, enter the OTP (One Time Password), received on your mobile number that is registered with the bank.
Enter the debit card number, linked account number & ATM PIN and then click on ‘Continue’.
Your login or/and transaction passwords can be set now.
Enter the password, confirm it, and then click on 'Continue.'
Your password is now set.
You can request for a new password by calling the customer center on 1800 103 2222/1800 180 2222 or by reaching out to a nearby branch.
The password will be sent through post to your mailing address.
You can set a new password using the given password.
