To get bank account updates such as available balance and amount credited or debited, to avoid glitches during fund transfers, and for KYC purposes, customers of Canara Bank should immediately update their personal information with the bank whenever there is a change in their contact details. This can be done by visiting either a Canara Bank branch or the bank's official website. It is also crucial to communicate the current address to the bank so that the customer can receive the mailers sent by the bank.
Gather the necessary documents, such as address and identity proof.
Visit the nearest bank branch.
Fill in the concerned form.
Submit the documents along with the request form to the branch manager.
The bank will update your address in your Canara Bank Passbook.
Sign in to your Canara Internet Banking account with your user ID and password.
Select ‘Profile’ ? ‘Personal Details’ ? Your details will be displayed.
Then click on 'Change Mobile Number – Domestic Only.'
Enter your new mobile number.
Click on the 'Submit' button.
Verify your new mobile number through OTP.
Note: You can also change your mobile number by visiting the nearest bank ATM, bank branch, or by calling customer care.
Log on to your Internet Banking account.
Click on the 'update profile' menu.
The screen will then display the following information: Nickname, title, first name, last name, address, city, state, country, pin code, contact number, email ID, and date of birth.
Except for the user ID, name, and address, you can modify all other details.
Modify the details by clicking on the 'Modify' button.
Now the system will ask for confirmation to verify your updated profile.
Click on the 'Confirm' button to confirm the changes.
