At Andhra Bank, you can apply for either an ATM card or debit card but cannot have both at the same time. The Andhra bank ATM card is a proprietary card, applicable at Andhra Bank ATMs and shared bank ATMs in India to withdraw cash, while the debit card, affiliated to VISA, can be utilized for transactions across the world. Through the Andhra Bank Debit Card, customers can access their bank accounts, make purchases at merchants globally, and withdraw cash from any of the member bank ATMs. The customers can also carry out online purchases with this card. The Andhra Bank ATM/Debit Card has a validity of ten years from the date of issue.
The bank provides a confidential 4-digit debit card PIN while handing over the card. If the customer wants to generate/change the debit card PIN, some of the methods are mentioned below.
Visit the Andhra Bank ATM and insert your debit card in the machine.
Among the other options, choose the option ‘New PIN.’
You will see two options ‘Generate OTP’ and ‘OTP Validation.’
Choose ‘Generate OTP.’ An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Once you get your OTP, insert the debit card again, and choose the option ‘OTP Validation.’
Now enter the OTP details that you have received in your registered mobile number.
After the successful validation, you will be able to create a new PIN, following the request for confirmation. Now your debit card PIN is reset.
You can also visit the nearest Andhra Bank branch and request an instant debit card PIN by submitting a written application. The bank will process the request, and the ATM PIN will be sent to your registered address.
